Before I became a copywriter, I worked in a wide variety of different settings - from the food service industry and retail, to the hospital setting, and then to working as a Real Estate Agent and Assistant Property Manager in the Affordable Housing Industry. 

I’ve worked with people from all walks of life in vastly differing environments, and those experiences have given me unique insight into what resonates with people.

I grew up in a tiny town in the middle of Wisconsin, and I’ve since lived in a smattering of different Midwestern cities. I also briefly lived in Concepción, Chile, and Seville, Spain, as well.

I’ve always loved learning, and my passion for working with words runs deep.  While earning my Bachelor of Arts of UW-La Crosse, I studied Communications, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, and got my Community Interpreting Certificate from Viterbo University. I’ve found that my background in the language service industry has shaped my ability to take a message and craft it into a myriad of different tones, using wildly varying sets of vocabulary. 

When I’m not copywriting, I’m usually traveling, continuing my language-learning endeavors, indulging in creative outlets, or spending time with my wonderful family and friends.
